The outer court is full of the multitudes and some have even entered His Gates by thanksgiving and some have entered His Courts with "perfect praise". However to worship Him in the beauty of His holiness, a decision must be made to find the "due order" of the Spirit!  Pure Worship is available by having a made-up mind with no distractions of whose watching and involving our whole heart, knowing by "relationship" there is a "secret place" and being determined to enter in and shut the door!  "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret, (the secret place of the Most High) and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly"(Matt.6:6) Even though the subject is prayer, "pure worship" is experienced in the exact same way.

Our goal is truly "pure worship", a place of Spirit where our immortal invisible part meets with an immortal invisible God and understanding develops!  The word Worship comes from an "old English" background denoting "worth-ship". Truly Jesus alone is worthy of all our praise. Worship is the ultimate of thanksgiving and praise. Worship exists when we are "invited guests" into the same room with God, this room is the Holy of Holies. It's when we have gotten past the veil which keeps ordinary people out! In one instance, the veil is said to be "the flesh of Jesus" and you can only penetrate that veil if Jesus allows you, by your spirit being joined to His Spirit! "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit"(ICor. 6:17).  Worship is an encounter with God that gets rid of casual acquaintance and lets Him know our degree of desire! It's also a place where divine wisdom exists to allow the true worshipper to sort ritualism from "spirit and truth"! Worship cannot be ritualistic! If worship does not change us, it is not genuine worship! To stand before the Holy One of Eternity is to change!

"Worship begins in holy expectancy, and ends in holy obedience"(quote by Richard Foster)  "And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifice, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams"(ISam.15:22) We can see how worship is directly related to obedience. The scripture says Abraham took his only son to the mountain to worship. Hindsight lets us know Abraham's real intention was to obey his Father's command which was to offer his only son as a human sacrifice. What a dilemma, for Abraham was prepared to obey regardless. Here's the revelation; correct true worship according to Scriptures first usage in (Gen. 22:5), worship requires obedience and sacrifice unreserved.

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him" We must never deviate from this powerful statement! We must create an atmosphere of spirit so the heavens can invade our earth and silence our carnality! Even the words of our songs must reflect truth for God is bound by His Word, singing and preaching. He will not manifest His works in any kind of untruth!
