In the following verse there is a strong Kingdom Principle concerning Isaac the son of Abraham's old age. "And the child grew, and was weaned and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned"(Gen. 21:8). Notice, no time was wasted, Abraham celebrated and rejoiced the very same day! How crucial it is for God's chosen to "flee the milk"! Abraham could now bond with Isaac in a new relationship of "father and son". Mama's milk was no longer the deciding factor; "For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness for he is a babe"(Heb. 5:13). When a son begins maturing every thought rests on the promises of his father!
Here's something to consider, we now have two new parents that have no connection to our physical birth. We've been given a promise and a power to become mature sons of God but (St. Jn. 1:13) states we were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Our new Father and Mother focus on entering us into a spiritual kingdom and completely forsaking our physical birth! Jesus said: "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own (physical) life also, he cannot be my disciple"(Luke14:26). Strong connections to our physical birth blinds us to our spiritual birth. Listen to the words of King David; "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up"(Psms. 27:10) This is also a spiritual principle, we never read in scripture where David's natural parents forsook him, however the point is made. Jesus said we have but one father, our heavenly father! The Apostle said; there is a Jerusalem from above and she is our mother!

In going deeper, we will use Apostle Paul as an example. "I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia , yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day"(Acts 22:3). This is a clear example of "religious fathers" who begot Paul into the womb of a "religious mother" called Judaism! The cords of her milk and the ropes of her rituals have a power of bondage nearly impossible to be broken! Do not think it was easy for Peter, James and John to come out of mother Judaism nor forsake the traditions of their fathers. In fact it was so hard that civil war became a part of their lifestyle! Same today in the USA, only Judaism is replaced with social church!

"For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:"(Gal. 1:13-16)  Here's the revelation: this particular word for separate in Strong's Concordance means; "to set off by boundary". This is not childbirth, this is Paul "coming out" of Judaism cutting all ties with her lies, then allowing the grace of Jesus Christ to introduce him to a brand new mother called New Jerusalem!
