The New World Dictionary defines "transfiguration" as changing to the highest possible realm of glory. Apostle Peter  calls it "the excellent glory". Apostle Paul adds; "But we all with open (unveiled) face beholding as in a glass (mirror) the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord".

God's chosen people realize this present time is the appointed time for us to embrace change! The "mountain of transfiguration" must become more than just a story, it must become a living, day by day reality, with the said goal to achieve our highest level of glory in Christ. Always remember these scriptures are written to those "In Christ" and only to those "In Christ"!

If we keep scriptures in context, this is called "sound doctrine" by the same token when we take scriptures out of context this becomes false doctrine. Needless to say false doctrine is running rampant. True Biblical change  comes by degrees; that is "from glory to glory" (II Cor. 3:18 ), "from strength to strength" (Psalms 84:7) and "from faith to faith" (Rom. 1:17). The tragedy of the "rapture doctrine" comes when people ignore Bible based change which comes by experience and day to day living and involvement with Jesus. Rather they wait on an escape message that is out of context. Our Bible teaches: "The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth(Prov.10:30)

For those who are "in Christ" we have this glorious promise: "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body..." Oh that we may achieve our highest realm of GLORY !

The Bible teaches the completeness of change in three dimensions starting with transmutation or conversion.

Transmutation begins as those chosen from the foundation of the world wake up and realize who they are in Christ.

Only those who have been baptized into Christ and have put on the Lord Jesus are changed from glory to glory.

"Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtained the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory."(II Tim. 2:10)  Remember Jesus only took a remnant (Peter, James, and John) upon the mountain of transfiguration. Representing the Head and the Body; more specifically the reality of the overcoming "Sons of God" coming into their dimension of glory. Transmutation is defined as the changing of one thing into another. In short, this is when the determination and passion comes alive to "be renewed in the spirit of your mind".(Eph. 4:23)  The level of glory we're seeking is the manifestation of true Sons of God !

Secondly is Transformation; defined as the changing of our nature, personality and character into a greater image. This of course is the main focus of the Remnant and it is taking place now not in the "sweet by and by". "And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness" this is real transformation !(Eph. 4:24) You should know, even in co-operation with God's Spirit, this is a life long process. "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh".( Ezk.36:26)  What a realm of glory as our hard-heart becomes tender.

Thirdly comes Transfiguration, when our change is completed, we will then experience our highest possible realm of glory. "When Christ who is our life , shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory".(Col. 3:4)  "So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory..." Remember transfiguration means to change to the highest realm of glory."There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory".(I Cor. 15:41)  The point being we must press for the mark of the prize of the high-calling in Christ. The scripture above indicates different degrees of light with first place the sun, second the moon, and thirdly the stars. Our glory is the light of Christ, the Son is the Sun the brightest of all !  You will never regret seeking for Truth, set your affections on things above, get all the LIGHT you can. "But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty".( Matt.13:22)
