Several places throughout the scriptures, we're told how Jesus totally subdued His foes and gave gifts unto men. Descending to the lower parts of the earth, defeating death and spoiling principalities and powers. "He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.( the entire universe) And he gave some apostles, and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:" (Eph.4:10-12) Paul went on to say, these gifts were to start our growth process , taking us from children to adulthood. "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:" (Eph.4:15) In the writings of the Apostles of Jesus, we are admonished frequently to examine ourselves, meaning to take inventory of how we are doing in our progression. We should constantly ask ourselves, Where do I go from here? Traditional churches seem to keep having classes, but never produce GRADUATES. Paul's teaching in Corinthians, lets us know what's next, and also what our purpose is. "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." (II Cor. 5:20) We are all Ambassadors for Christ, whose purpose is to let folks know, "BE YE RECONCILED TO GOD." First and foremost, Ambassadors are not children, but are described in Strong's Concordance as "senior representatives." As Paul said, we have been given authority to act in Christ's stead. An ambassador is a senior representative of a sovereign nation, in this case we represent the "kingdom of God" and our righteous King, Jesus. Our words and actions are to reflect our Kings. As a senior representative for Christ, we must have an understanding of His heart. We are to become so masterfully acquainted with His Word and Will, that it is our life force and a built-in unwavering faith. As an ambassador for Christ, we are now kindred-spirits with Apostle Paul; "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel. For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly as I ought to speak." (Eph.6:19-20) As an ambassador for Christ, we must be able to go through trials. As an ambassador for Christ, we must be able to stand in the midst of tribulations. "For I am persuaded, that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."(Rom.8:38) Notice, it's not my love for Him, my love might be shaken, but it's the love of God in Christ Jesus that we can never get away from. Praise His Holy Name! As an ambassador for Christ, we are kindred-spirits with Jesus: "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin".(Heb.4:15)

In closing, consider these words from the Chorus of a special song: When your back is to the wall,,remember his was to the cross grave has lost the victory,,Jesus said death where is your sting When God gave his only son mine and your battles then and there were won and if your back is to the wall,,,remember his was to the cross
