According to the teaching of Paul from his Roman epistle, the restoring of a "remnant seed" certainly is a present truth reality. After discussing Elijah's fleeing from Jezebel, God replies: "I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal ! This is a powerful OT example of God,s remnant. However, we also have a powerful NT example as follows: "So too at the present time there is a remnant (a small believing minority), selected (chosen) by grace-by God's unmerited favor and graciousness".(Rom. 11:5 ) Amp. Some have asked; how do I know if I'm part of God's remnant company? Here is one of my answers; these verses must be a part of your very being, "For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities".(Rev. 18:5)  "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plaques:" (Rev. 18:4) You see, Mystery Babylon is alive and well as stated in (Rev.17:5), and her abominations have produced our modern day religious system from which the remnant will separate herself !!

In the gospel of Mark, Jesus teaches an "outward circle" and an "inner circle". God's remnant can only be satisfied as an exclusive part of the "inner circle". Just as "John the beloved" leaned on the breast of Jesus; type and shadow of his longing to know the very heartbeat of his master. Passion for the anointing of the Holy Ghost, has been watered down and even replaced in the outer circles of religion. Family members of family churches have taken the place of the called and anointed of God. As a result, everything becomes a parable with outward understanding at best.

"And he said to them, To you has been entrusted the mystery of the kingdom of God, (that is, the secret counsels of God which are hidden from the ungodly;) but for those outside (of our circle) everything becomes a parable, In order that they may (indeed) look and look but not perceive  and may hear and hear but not grasp and comprehend; lest haply they should turn again, and it (their wilful rejection of the truth) should be forgiven them".(Mark 4:11-12) Amp. from (Isa.6:9-10)  God's "remnant seed"  is the "inner circle"of today with the main characteristic of restoration, being able to hear and to see by the Spirit !! As you know, Jesus taught by parables, most Bible dictionaries will tell you, a parable has a surface (outward) meaning, this belongs to the "outer circle". The whole truth is; there is a deeper (inner) meaning, this one belongs to the "inner circle" it always belongs to the Spirit Realm.  Praise His Name !!

In closing, I would draw from Peter's encounter with Jesus,  in the last chapter of St. John. Jesus ask him three times if he loved him, some say this was because of Peter's three denials.Nevertheless, Jesus got Peter's attention to the point of hurting his feelings, now he knows how Jesus felt. Here's the revelation, from the "inner circle" Jesus is seeking for more than friendship or "puppy love".  "Simon son of Jonah, lovest thou me more than these"?  When Jesus asked "more than these", was He referring to the other disciples? In my spirit I feel he was referring to the setting of the Sea of Tiberias, Peter's love for fishing, and finally the 153 large, fresh caught fish. We are also in a day when Jesus is measuring my love and your love. THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GOD,S BEFORE ME !!

In-Christ Always Elmer Hart
