By now God's Remnant Seed know the importance of relationships, this is in the natural and the spiritual. In last months article, we showed a change of relationship from servantship to friendship. This month we want to show another change, from friendship to brideship. The Bride of Christ must not be taken lightly, and we must not assume we just casually stroll into this relationship. A true and working marriage is not 50/50 as some teach, the truth being, both husband and wife must both contribute 100% effort !!  I regretfully believe not everyone is part of the Bride, but here is applied the scripture which says: "For many are called but few are chosen." (Matt.22:14)

In the parable of the Wedding Banquet, we see very important truths: "And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: and he said unto him, Friend ( in capital letters) how comest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called but few are chosen."(Matt.22:11-14)  Careful examination shows here four relationships; a Son, a Bride, a Friend, and finally Servants. We can see plainly the servant / master relationship, they do as they are told, no glamour nor pleasantries, oddly enough they seem to be familiar with the location of "outer darkness".Next we see it is a FRIEND who has somehow broken protocol and neglects the wedding garment, let me just say, he exhibits little enthusiasm and not enough passion. He displays his guilt by being speechless, and his reward is outer darkness, a place of no light which is revelation, and no warmth; God's love for His True Bride.

God has called many friends (plural), but choosing of the Bride (singular) will be those who have successfully learned servantship, and went on through friendship. Not casual friendship, as the above example, but "true friendship": "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."(St. Jn.15:13)  Without a doubt this kind of friendship contains genuine love and out of this kind of friendship God has Hand-Picked His Bride. "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb IS COME, (PRESENT TENSE) and his WIFE hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white:for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints."(Rev.19:7-8)  Notice she has made herself ready. Here is some of the things this means to me, first of all Christ's Bride has lost her desire for all other lovers, she is faithful to her first and only love which is the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Her focus is Pure Spirit. Next, she can be trusted with this anointing, she trusts the Spirit and the Spirit trusts her. Also, She has reach God's required Passion level, the number one, main ingredient in building relationship with the anointing is passion and desire. You really got to love it and want it !!  Last but certainly not least, the Bride gives up her own will, her heart is one with her Bridegroom . His purpose has now become her purpose, she has no regrets, and will not change her mind. Likewise, His desires are her desires and together through the agreement of the covenant this union will turn the world "right-side up.

The mindset of the traditional church, is "some glad morning", or "in the sweet by and by" always staring at the sky and waiting. But the Virgin Bride has shaken off the defiled garment of men's false teaching, and become aware that "now is the acceptable time". "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life..."(Rev.3:5)  If you noticed above, she was no longer called a bride but now she is his WIFE. The two have become one, the same mind and the same heart:  HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE !!    This union is very different from Adam and Eve in the Genesis Garden; "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh."(Gen.2:24) One flesh can never please the Lord, but the marriage of the Lamb is different, it flows out of the "blood of Jesus" and an understanding that flesh and blood of the Old Man Adam must give way to the Life of the Spirit, coming from the union of Christ and his Wife !!
