"Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.( Matt.7:15 ) This passage goes on to say: "Ye shall know them by their fruits." In a recent discussion with Bro. James  Ferguson, we discussed the symbolism of wolves and how he feels wolves (as false prophets and spirits of devils) are just as widespread today as in the days of the early apostles.  We can know them by their fruit, the fruit of a wolf; is an inner selfishness and one who has a motive for destruction and fierceness, rather than the love of God. And of course, they claim to be teachers. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine ; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."(II Tim.4:3-4) The definition of a fable is simply: "an untrue myth." You don't have to explore very hard in the "church systems" to find plenty of these Untrue Myths. As a part of God's Remnant Seed, you can probably name several of these Fables from your own experience.

The sad truth is: these mythical teachings have replaced the truth of God's Word, and are accepted as a substitute gospel, which is not a gospel at all. "And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:"(Gal.2:4)  To come in privily, deserves discussion, they first of all become a part of the group and obtain acceptance, Then as Strong's Concordance states:"they come in right along side of every one else", However, their motives are not pure at all. They are called Spies and destroy liberty by bringing in bondage. The main tool they use is called "The Dead Letter". (II Cor.3:6)  Plainly says, this dead letter killeth. The Apostle Paul gives a farewell speech to the Ephesian Elders who came to meet with him as recorded in the twentieth chapter of Acts: "For I know this, that after my departing shall Grevious Wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock, Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them."(Acts 20:29-30)

Let me say; a true prophet always points you to Jesus, the center of the True Gospel. A false prophet always points you to himself, and particularly to his billfold or his checkbook. Wolves will reveal themselves and true Sons Of God will reveal themselves. We must understand, true wisdom always places Jesus as the main focal point. It's His Spirit, It's His Church, It's His Teaching, And It's His Gospel. I marvel how soon after the foundation of Jesus Christ, the Chief Corner Stone, and the teachings of the First Apostles, until Wolves had sneaked in unaware, took the focus off Jesus, and were saying such things as this: "Now this I say that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.(ICor.1:12) Take notice in this verse of scripture Christ has moved into last place. That's the tragedy of Today; The anointing of Christ has taken a back seat to entertainment , fund raising, dinners, and scores of other get-togethers.  May those that hunger and thirst after the things of God always keep Christ in the Center.

Isaiah chapter eleven, is one of the greatest discourses on Restoration in the Bible. The greatest restoration, I personally see, is the Peace and Harmony that is to be restored as the "old nature" gives way to the Nature Of Christ. We must look deeper to see this truth, (ICor.15:32)  Paul says: "If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus..." This is a great example of the nature of the Wolf at work right in the Church of Ephesus. Paul had his trouble with false prophets, unruly men, and Pharisees, and hypocrites who would not let go of their old nature or their vain traditions. Thank God the curse will be lifted and the ravenous wolf shall be tamed, (Isa. 11:6)  "The Wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." In this passage, the wolf, the leopard, and the lion represent the old ferocious nature of Adam, while the lamb, the kid, and the calf represents the NEW NATURE of the Christ. The fact that a little child shall lead them, lets us know of a certainty that Christ and His new nature shall be the prevailing lifestyle in our New Jerusalem!!  Praise His Name! (Nature) !!

Yours in Christ, Elmer Hart
