The word of the Lord is rich and powerful but it must go beyond "tradition of men"! When the Apostles of the Lamb wrote Epistles by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, it was Truth Forever Established!  Search for it, there is absolutely no Apostle's Doctrine for a Christmas Holiday, so if you boast you are established on the Apostle's doctrine take heed on this subject. I would like to show you an overlooked doctrine of  the Apostles. "But God raised him from the dead: And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people. And we declare unto you glad tidings how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee"(Acts 13:30-33). Peter, John and Paul taught a celebration for Resurrection and here's the very important term: "the first begotten of the dead" The only begotten Son of God, the "first begotten of all Creation" the "firstborn of many brethren" places profound emphasis on "the first begotten of the dead"! The first begotten is mostly used in connection with resurrection!

"And he is before all things, and by him all things consist"(Col.1:17). See Him from everlasting to everlasting; "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence". Another witness the beginning of the "body and "the church" (the one true church) is the firstborn from the dead! This is the important birth, the beginning of a brand new body, a brand new church, a brand new creation full of Resurrection Power! These are the "off-spring" of Jesus ; "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation (Col.1:15). Amen!

"And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince (ruler) of the Kings of the earth..."(Rev.1:5). He is the exalted one! There is absolutely none like our Savior! Jesus is never to be compared to a mere-mortal! He is right now the Ruler over an Everlasting Kingdom filled with Everlasting Resurrection Life! "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren"(Rom.8:29). It's all about duplicating His Image and as brothers and sisters we are made partakers of a "chosen generation", a royal priesthood, a holy nation and a peculiar people. "Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. and hath made us kings and priests unto God..."(Rev.1:6) You see "kings and priests" are made (meaning developed), this is in addition to gifts and callings of the 5-fold ministry. Kings and Priests require relationship with complete Deity and supersedes apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. "Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth ; but God that giveth the increase"(ICor.3:5-7).  He that is JOINED to the Lord is one Spirit, that's a BRIDE!

In-Christ Always Elmer Hart
