What a glorious day for Israel of old, when Solomon brought the "ark of the covenant" into the newly finished temple. The best singers were there arrayed in white linen with cymbals, psalteries and harps. Asaph the chief musician was there, he was known for igniting powerful worship for King David! One hundred and twenty priests sounding their trumpets in unison! They sang about a Good Good God, whose mercy endureth forever!  Solomon prays a beautiful notorious prayer emphasizing a God who always keeps His promises! And the Bible says: "The Glory of the Lord filled the house of God". (See IIChron. 5:12-14)

There's just something about the promises of God that brings peace, knowing that God cannot lie! His promises are unbreakable and are a foundation of strength! To the "early church" Jesus talked frequently about "the promise of the Father". Way beyond "type and shadows" this church of the First-Born experienced something greater than the dedication of Solomon's temple. After all. did Jesus not say a greater than Solomon is here? I'm talking about the dedication of a living-breathing temple not made with hands! We have 120 believers gathered in one place in one accord. Can you see by the Spirit as 120 Levitical Priests in a temple made with hands are translated into 120 witnesses in the upper room. And  that by the infilling of the Holy Ghost now have "tongues of fire" with a single voice as a trumpet declaring the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ! And this time the Glory of the Lord filled a "living -breathing Temple! I can hear the words of the Ole Prophet; "lift up your voice like a trumpet and show my people their transgressions"!   WOW what a MIGHTY GOD!!

Emphasis needs put on the "sacred secret" of one mind and one accord. Look how this worked; "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls". This is a prefect example of Jesus coming in the Sound of a Trumpet! The true mind of Christ must begin to think only in terms of Spirit ! Jesus said I am come to set Fire to the Earth! Watch this "consuming fire" spread; "Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed: and the number of the men was about five thousand"(Acts4:4).  This Fire is out of control: "And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch"(Acts5:12).  "And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women. Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one". Guess what happens next?  The Apostles get arrested by religious people!
