"And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time"(ICor.15:8).  Even though the "zeal of the Lord" in the heart of Paul was not according to Spirit, Jesus recognized the kind of heart He is always after! Jesus knows how to turn a heart towards Himself. To the Philippines, Paul cataloged his credentials; "Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews as touching the Law, a Pharisee":  A true overcomer loves Jesus more than both worlds; that is the secular world and the religious world! Listen to these powerful words; concerning every one of his natural reasons that would certainly allow him to boast he said "I do count them but dung, that I may win Christ". Israel as a worldly nation and Pharisee as a religious nation! When Apostle James tells us not to love the world, you should know there is two destructive worlds!

There came a supernatural drive in Paul to preach Jesus among the heathen. Immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood neither with the apostles before me. He needed what all true overcomers need; alone-time with Jesus!  Paul chose Arabia a large desert, isolated and suitable to kill the flesh and provide meditation. Apostle John adds: "the whole world lieth in wickedness"(IJn.5:19). This word "world" in Strongs Concordance specifies "ordered arrangements"! Not talking about our beautiful creation, but any man-made systems that opposes the "anointing" is against God and these are the anti-christs  John was talking about!

Now consider the times relevant to the days of the Apostles, and compare those days to our own. In Colossians chapter two, Paul writes a master piece! "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world (SYSTEMS) and not after Christ"(Col.2:8). This exposes the Greek system. Their philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle expressed views similiar to our "new age movement" One such movement  called "syncretism" picked out highlighted pieces of many different religions and merged them together. This creates a monstrous HYBRID!

Next, "Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink, or in respect of a holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days":(Col.2:16) Here Paul exposes the legalism of the Judaizers . They were just as bound at that time as if they were still captive in Egypt. Bondage is still the enemy of our freedom in Jesus. Here's what Jesus did: "After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry,...(Jn.7:1) Jesus separated himself from their system which desired to kill him and returned to Galilee.

Since three's a charm we conclude with Paul exposing Roman influence. "Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind"(Col.2:18). God loves humility but it must be genuine, seeking Jesus alone without wanting reputation! "For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" God is against all "mysticism" our mediator is not an angel! Likewise God chooses "saints" not Rome! Beware of "angel worship" and "saint worship"!
